we are all adapting to a socially isolating life. How are you feeling?
I am happy to share that I have been tearful and fearful, helpless and hopeless but also hopeful and grateful. My house has never been cleaner and the dogs love having human company 24/7.
When I started Seven lemons at the beginning of this year my hope was to support women in their midlife WTF.
Actually irrespective of age or sex we are all having a massive WTF time and I want to help you come through this feeling better not worse than before.
Maybe you are WFH for the first time, or working harder than ever in the health and social sector or unable to work at your usual profession because of social distancing. Whoever you are, and whatever your situation we are all feeling that is not ‘normal’ and it is stressful.
The initial Netflix, chocolate and alcohol frenzy might be taking its toll on your mood,
My marigolds are wearing out from so much cleaning. Maybe the displacement activities are losing their appeal. Who cares if the bed isn't made and the same clothes get worn day after day. How long can you hide in the cupboard to get space from the other inmates in your home?
Seriously though, there has never been a more poignant reminder that optimal health is extremely important to us all and maybe this could be the opportunity to really understand what your body needs from you for long term health

Here is your challenge!
1. Buy seven lemons - one for each day of the week
2. Start your day with a lemon water
3. Grab a mug and squeeze in half a lemon just add warm water
4. Enjoy!

Why start your day with lemon water?
Seven zesty reasons:
Boost a sluggish digestive tract - lemony acid helps digest food so might help with bloating and heartburn
Hydration boost after sleep - Swapping your first cup of tea for half a lemon squeezed in to warm water helps after a night of dehydration
Weight loss - try crowding out sugary drinks for sparkling water with a squeeze of lemon juice during the day
Vitamin C - a lemon a day easy!
Support your kidneys and prevent stones forming
Morning poo - yep, warm lemon water will help with constipation!
